Desired Impact
Innovative, technology-based solutions to issues for agriculture in Northern Uganda and scale them in the most efficient ways possible. Increase incomes by 15% for at least 130,000 Ugandan households. At a minimum, 50% of direct beneficiaries from CSJ Component 1 must be women, and in addition 50% of direct beneficiaries must be refugees or people living in districts hosting significant numbers of refugees or neighbouring districts in Northern Uganda.
Approach
This component will employ a market systems development approach to improve access to, and functioning of, market systems that benefit the poor and thus increase climate resilience.
